Healing; the ultimate excavation project
Healing; a radical act of accountability
Healing is a radical act of accountability to ourselves. We mend for the moment, forever circling back inward to remember our worth. We take loving action, set boundaries, and explore practices to welcome whatever parts of us long to be seen. We begin to nurture ourselves just as we have spent much of our lives doing for others.
Healing is the ultimate excavation project, a choice to tether back to ourselves, looking beneath the hood, as we seek to feel better within our bodies.
The world has told many of us to just push harder, work smarter and show up with a positive attitude. While those messages have their place, often the best transformation comes from quieting and stilling our distracted and bombarded nervous systems. Healing asks us to sink in, allowing and slowing ourselves into moments of openness. Healing will also ask us to relinquish that which no longer is serving us; something difficult to examine let alone honor.
